Day trip to 4 Trail-less Peaks
I needed a trip to the Adirondacks but could not find a way to schedule a regular 4 day trip. So I left Easton at 1 am and got to the trail head at sunrise, after climbing the peaks, I returned home, very, very tired. Click on images for a larger view.

I had thought I might try to Climb the west side slide on Dix |

No way. When I got to Dix it was 40 degrees, sleeting and very windy. |
I was very wet by the time I descended off Dix |
|
|
|
|
But the sun came out, and I got to dry my clothes |
And get in a swim before scrambling out to the truck |
